Our commitment
MFree Yoga is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology or have different browsing needs. This site is designed with WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a guiding standard and is reviewed and updated as the site evolves.
We do not claim that this site is fully compliant with any standard. Accessibility is an ongoing practice, not a destination.
Accessibility practices on this site
The following practices are in place across the current site:
- Keyboard navigation. All interactive elements, including navigation links, buttons, and the waitlist form, can be reached and activated using only a keyboard.
- Visible focus indicators. Keyboard focus rings are visible on all interactive elements, using a Deep Plum outline on light backgrounds.
- Semantic headings. Each page uses a single H1 and a consistent heading hierarchy so that screen-reader users can navigate by section.
- Alternative text. All images on this site include alternative text. See the known limitations section for current status.
- Color contrast. Text and interactive elements are designed to meet or exceed WCAG 2.2 Level AA contrast ratios against their backgrounds.
- Reduced motion. Scroll-reveal animations and hover effects are disabled or reduced when the browser or operating system reports a preference for reduced motion.
- Responsive layout. The site adapts to a range of screen sizes and supports browser zoom without loss of functionality.
- Accessible forms. Form fields use visible labels, clear error messages associated with their fields, and live-region announcements for success and error states.
- Skip navigation. A skip link allows keyboard users to bypass the navigation and jump directly to the main content area.
- No inaccessible CAPTCHA. The waitlist form uses a honeypot field rather than a visible CAPTCHA.
- Landmark regions. The page structure uses semantic HTML landmarks (header, main, footer, nav) to support screen-reader navigation.
Known limitations
We are aware of the following in-progress item:
- Image alt text review. All 83 production images currently include draft alternative text descriptions. These drafts are pending a final review by the brand's creative director before public launch. The review is expected to be completed before the site is made publicly available and indexed.
